Three centuries of stewardship

St Paul’s Walden Bury Estate is a historic Hertfordshire estate set within rolling countryside, woodland and traditional farmland. At the heart of the estate, Easthall Farm combines farming with a long-term commitment to stewardship of the land, supporting both sustainable agriculture and the natural environment.

The estate has remained in the family for 10 generations and is now celebrating its 300th anniversary. It has a focus on responsible farming, conservation and maintaining the character of the rural landscape.

As a B Corp business, St Paul’s Walden Bury Estate and Easthall Farm are committed to operating responsibly and sustainably, with a focus on environmental stewardship, community and long-term impact. This reflects a belief that farming should support productive land, biodiversity and local ecosystems for future generations.

We also host a number of businesses and social enterprises including artists’ studios, The Living Theatre, The Strathmore Arms, Emily’s Teashop, Daizy’s flowers, and our own beef retail and oak timber.

Located close to Hitchin and within easy reach of London, St Paul’s Walden Bury Estate offers a rare combination of historic English countryside, working farmland and carefully preserved landscapes that continue to evolve for the future.
