Weddings and other events at St Paul’s Walden Bury

The beautiful 18th century rooms in the house are ideal for weddings or for other events.

Our notable garden - 50 acres of clipped hedge avenues, temples, statues, lake - can be used for marquee receptions. 

Spectacular 17th Century barn, recently renovated. Capacity for 100 guests.

Small or large celebrations are welcome, up to 800 guests. You would arrange marquee and caterers. We provide wedding organisers to support your arrangements.

We have a licence for Civil Ceremonies, which can be held in the house, or in one of the temples in the garden. For the house there is a maximum of 60 people inside, but this can be extended to 120 to include guests with chairs outside large French windows, under an awning.

Daytime marquee reception
Sole use of the garden until 7pm, choice of sites for the marquee. You would arrange marquee, catering etc. We provide wedding organiser to support your arrangements. Access 2 days before to prepare.

Day and evening marquee reception
As above, but continuing until midnight.

After the ceremony drinks and prepared canapes can be served in the Adam Hall, on the terrace or in the garden.
